Set on a picturesque bend of the Maribyrnong River, with the perfect vantage point of the city skyline, Pace of Sunshine North is evolving as an emerging community.
Only 10km to Melbourne CBD, the sloping site that takes in the natural bushland of the riverbank and the towers of the city will soon be home to a collection of townhouses and apartments.
Be part of this exciting growth in a contemporary new community. Pace of Sunshine North appeals to a wide range of buyers and offers easy living for families, young professionals and downsizers.
Pace of Sunshine North is setting a new benchmark in the area for contemporary residential design.
The natural palette of the materials is warm, welcoming and timeless, taking its cues from the surrounding landscape. Large windows ensure light-filled interiors and maximise the views outside.
Inside, simple, geometric forms are softened by rich stone textures, timber surfaces and loop pile carpets. Subtle, ash tones and a light, warm palette form two distinct colour schemes.
M80 Ring road upgrade
VicRoads' upgrade to the Western Ring Road M80 includes this section which stems from Sunshine Avenue to the Calder Freeway. This project includes an extensive widening of both inbound and outbound lanes across EJ Whitten Bridge, which is expected to ease traffic congestion and improve overall safety. Roadworks have been ongoing since October 2016 and are estimated to be completed by the end of 2018.
Sunshine skills hub
This facility, which will be located on Ballarat Road will introduce a new health and community training centre alongside a state of the art gymnasium, innovation hub, cafe, and a bookstore. Being a Victoria University project, it will be located alongside its Sunshine Campus. This skills hub complements the Sunshine NEIC framework of creating a health, education and employment precinct.
Duke street shopping centre
This proposed shopping centre will include a major supermarket and various specialty stores facing Duke Street. Creating new localised amenities such as this will cater toward the growing proportion of young families that are prevalent in Sunshine North. Amenities that serve and reinvigorate the local area are likely to prompt further commercial and residential development, enhancing the general neighbourhood.
