A ROOFTOP infinity swimming pool and residents’ gym are set to enhance the vibrant lifestyle hub that is growing in Carnegie, according to an inner-city developer.
Pace of Carnegie, which is a collaboration between Pace Development Group and Centraland, plans to deliver an iconic architectural response to the distinct character of the area with a high level of amenity.
Designed by architectural firm, The Buchan Group, the vision of Pace Development Group was to bring to the same level of design consideration and construction quality typically associated with its award-winning inner-city projects to Carnegie.
Pace Development Group planning manager Michael Holah said Carnegie had undergone major rejuvenation in recent years and the company saw an exciting opportunity to bring an elevated standard of living to the area.
“By investing in state-of-the-art design and contributing a dynamic retail offer to the precinct, Pace of Carnegie is set to become a contemporary landmark in the area,” he said.
The 12-level development at 18 Woorayl St is described as having a distinct architectural expression that is designed to be viewed from all perspectives, thanks to a modulated, stepped form.
Each of the 152 apartments has been designed to allow natural light to flow into living spaces, while oversized hanging balconies interact with the site’s location opposite parkland and provide residents with an additional outdoor entertaining space.
“The apartment interiors are textured and inviting, with a natural palette of timber and stone that encourages residents to live within the landscape,” said Harvey Male, principal of The Buchan Group.
“Spacious, light-filled interiors are easily personalised with two colour decor palettesto accommodate a light or cool scheme.
“Richly appointed interiors come standard with engineered stone bench tops, Smeg appliances, luxurious wool carpets, and a choice between elegant brass or black tap ware.”
All apartments come with at least one dedicated car space plus basement storage areas.
One-bedroom apartments range from 45-50sq m of internal space and are on the market from $345,000-$445,000.
Two-bedroom layouts are 67-96sq m and priced from $495,000-$680,000, while three-bedroom apartments are 98-101sq m and from $750,000-$895,000.
The 480sq m rooftop on level 10 showcases the “unrivalled” panoramic views towards the city skyline.
It also provides residents with additional entertaining and barbecue facilities, as well as the 20m infinity pool and 60sq m gymnasium fitted with state-of-the-art fitness equipment.
Pace of Carnegie will also offer six retail spaces that will front a transport hub at the train station.
Completion expected in late 2019.
The project display suite has its grand opening on July 8, where pastry chef Christy Tania, a MasterChef guest chef, will be preparing desserts.
